When touring a home, it’s easy to focus on how the space looks and feels. From the layout to the finishing touches, everything can seem like it’s part of the package. But one important detail buyers often overlook is what actually stays with the home once the sale is complete.
AppliancesBuilt-in appliances like ovens and dishwashers usually stay with the home. Freestanding items—such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, or a garage freezer—don’t always transfer to the new owner, even if they’re in place during a showing. It’s always a good idea to double-check before making an offer.
